OK, everything is in now.

actually its all together too, and working, im just behind on the journal...

but here are a few of the build steps

first you see the motherboard...

then you see the awesome Zalman Cooler on the motherboard...

then you see the Power Supply Unit...and it is NICE..MODULAR (which means i can completely remove and add wires when i need to, no extra wires hanging around!)

then you see it in the case!

and the video card is on there too...and i said it all backwards...so start at the end

The Harvest
Today is the day the majority of the parts came in.

when i opened the door and came inside this afternoon, a delightful sight met me...

big big boxes...pretty nice brown boxes

inside those boxes...next to packing slips and invoices, and lots of bubble wrap and shipping peanut thingies ...these things are uncovered:

the only thing im missing is the video card...which will be here tommorow...

and that case....ohh its so nice...i love it...i want to make love to it...its beautiful, lightweigt, strong, HUGE, and very very well made.

something cool happened yesterday. A couple of my long time customers dropped by to let me finish up on their laptop and show em how to connect it to the net. LOW and behold they bring me a gift.

A Logitech X-530 5.1 Channel speaker set. FREAKIN SWEET. its a nice set, really its the best you can get for the money. sounds superb (on the old comp...the new comp wll blow me away...xfi baby)

its the same set i just bought the other night , so im gonna use one of them in the living room to make it Surround Sound

Step 2: Wait for shipping, compare it to Alienware price

yea...patiently waiting, it should leave the warehouse monday, get here wednesday or thursday

i always compare my computer prices to the prices of an Alienware computer.

on this computer i would charge around $2,750.00 for a regular customer (less for friends and all) the same computer, with an added keyboard (i didnt get one cuz i dont need it, but my pcs generally come with entry level kbd and mouse for free, and monitors at cost) on alienware is : Order Total:    $3,115.35

see WHY you should buy your next rig from Icthus Computers?
